Scutum

Scutum: A small constellation named after a shield, originally honoring the Polish King John III Sobieski for his victory in the Battle of Vienna in 1683.
Stars: Scutum contains several bright stars, including Alpha, Beta, and Delta Scuti, as well as some of the largest known stars, such as UY Scuti and Stephenson 2 DFK 1, which are red hypergiants.
Deep sky objects: Scutum is home to several open clusters, such as M11 (the Wild Duck Cluster) and M26, as well as a globular cluster (NGC 6712) and a planetary nebula (IC 1295).
Pioneer 11: A space probe that is moving in the direction of Scutum, but will not reach the closest star in the constellation for over a million years.
Taurus Poniatovii: A now-obsolete constellation created by a Polish astronomer to honor another Polish king, Stanis?aw August Poniatowski.
