Leo

Leo: Leo is a zodiac constellation that represents the Nemean Lion killed by Hercules in Greek mythology. It has many bright stars, such as Regulus and Denebola, and a distinctive shape that resembles a crouching lion.
Leo Galaxies: Leo contains many bright galaxies, some of which are part of the Leo Triplet. It also hosts some of the largest structures in the observable universe, such as the Huge-LQG and the Leo Ring.
Leo Meteor Showers: Leo is the radiant of the Leonids, a major meteor shower that occurs in November and is associated with Comet Tempel-Tuttle. It also has a minor shower, the January Leonids, that peaks in early January.
Leo History and Mythology: Leo is one of the oldest and most recognized constellations, with evidence of its depiction in ancient Mesopotamia, Babylon, Persia, and Greece. It was associated with the lion, the king of beasts, and various deities, such as Bacchus and Jupiter.
Deep sky objects: Lacerta has no bright galaxies or globular clusters, but it does have some open clusters, such as NGC 7243, and a faint planetary nebula, IC 5217.
