Circinus

Circinus: A small, faint constellation in the southern sky, named after a drafting tool used for drawing circles.
Stars: Circinus contains several variable stars, such as Alpha Circini, a rapidly oscillating Ap star, and AX Circini, a Cepheid variable. It also has two stars with planetary systems: HD 134060 and HD 129445.
Deep sky objects: Circinus hosts a spiral galaxy, the Circinus Galaxy, which is the closest Seyfert galaxy to the Milky Way. It also has a planetary nebula, NGC 5315, and three open clusters: NGC 5823, NGC 5715, and Pismis 20.
Meteors: Circinus is the radiant of an annual meteor shower, the Alpha Circinids, which are thought to be associated with a long-period comet.
