Caelum

Caelum: A faint constellation in the southern sky, named after a chisel or engraver's tool by Nicolas Louis de Lacaille in the 18th century.
Stars: Caelum has no star brighter than magnitude 4 and only two stars brighter than magnitude 5. The brightest star, Alpha Caeli, is a double star with an F-type main-sequence star and a red dwarf. Other notable stars include Gamma 1 Caeli, a red giant with an optical double X Caeli, a Delta Scuti variable and contact binary; and RR Caeli, an eclipsing binary with a red dwarf, a white dwarf, and a giant planet.
Deep-sky objects: Caelum is rather barren of deep-sky objects, with the exception of HE0450-2958, an unusual Seyfert galaxy with a jet and a hidden host galaxy.
