Ara

Ara: A southern constellation that was described by the ancient Greek astronomer Ptolemy and represents an altar used by the gods to defeat the Titans.
Brightest stars: Beta Arae, an orange supergiant, and Alpha Arae, a blue-white main sequence star, are the brightest stars in Ara, followed by Zeta Arae, an orange giant, and Gamma Arae, a blue supergiant.
Exoplanets: Seven star systems in Ara have been found to host planets, including Mu Arae, which has four planets, and Gliese 676, which is a binary star system with four planets.
Milky Way: Ara contains part of the Milky Way and has several open clusters and nebulae, such as NGC 6397, one of the closest globular clusters to the Solar System.
